As the Product Manager for stainless steel at Heléns, you will play a central role in developing our product groups and driving our initiatives in this area. You will work both strategically and operationally: analyzing market potential, building the product portfolio, driving supplier development, and actively contributing to sales efforts through customer identification, visits, and follow-up. Here, you will collaborate closely with our sales teams and leverage the expertise of experienced specialists in Sweden and globally, in an environment where growth, business acumen, and knowledge sharing are at the forefront. Your Role As the Product Manager for stainless products at Heléns, you will take on a key role in developing both our business and our offerings. You will identify market opportunities, analyze potential, and translate insights into concrete sales and development activities – from customer engagement to building a competitive product portfolio. You will: - Drive market and product plans for stainless steel. - Monitor profitability, analyze the market, and produce relevant reports. - Actively engage with customers – identify opportunities, conduct customer visits, and support sales efforts. - Develop the product portfolio and optimize inventory in collaboration with the Product Area Manager. - Build and develop supplier relationships, negotiate prices, and drive product development. - Ensure that sales and marketing have the right knowledge and conditions, including through Heléns Product Academy. - Be responsible for quality issues and standard specifications in collaboration with SHEQ and GPM. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is business-minded, analytical, and driven, and who thrives in a role that combines strategy with operational work. You are structured, create clear processes, and want to be involved in developing methods, collaboration, and offerings within the product area. You are relationship-oriented and comfortable collaborating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. You have a natural ability to translate market insights into concrete decisions and communicate clearly so that the organization has the right conditions to succeed. We believe you are motivated by seeing the business grow, developing products, and contributing to a strong and modern overall offering. Your Experience We prefer that you have: - Experience as a product manager, buyer, product responsible, or in another commercial role within industry, steel, technology, or related sectors. - Strong business understanding with experience in working with profitability, pricing, and market or competitive analyses. - Experience in customer dialogues and active sales work, preferably with documented impact on sales growth. - Experience in supplier relationships, negotiations, and business development. - Good analytical skills and comfort in working with data, decision-making materials, and follow-up. - Experience in building and improving structures, processes, and working methods. - Experience with stainless steel or other metal products is a plus, but not a requirement.
