About this role

About Carla We want to accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility. We do this by offering the most customer-friendly way to buy and sell electric vehicles. Our goal is to become Northern Europe's largest player in the sale of electric cars. Founded in Stockholm in 2020, we are now the second largest in Sweden for the sale of used electric cars. By 2025, we aim for a sales volume of 2 billion SEK with profitability, while continuing to have Sweden's most satisfied customers. Our business model is based on: • Purchasing and sourcing cars from private individuals, companies, and partners such as banks, leasing companies, and manufacturers. • Offering a completely digital customer journey via carla.se combined with personal service from our sales team. • Ensuring high quality and profitability through efficient internal processes, strong data utilization, and proprietary systems. About the role As Product Manager – Commercial at Carla, you will play a central role in developing the digital tools and customer experiences that drive our commercial business forward. You will work at the intersection of technology, design, and business development – combining insights from sales, purchasing, finance, management, marketing, and of course customers to create smart, sustainable solutions, both for online customer interactions and via phone, chat, email, etc. The role is broad: your work will involve improving internal commercial processes and systems – such as our internal BackOffice, Hubspot (CRM), and integrations with the business system Business Central. Part of your work will focus on developing our consumer site carla.se, where you, together with developers, designers, marketing, and eCommerce managers, will optimize conversion, sales, and customer experience. You will map out and analyze processes together with users to understand the root causes of problems before designing solutions. Your ability to combine service design, interaction design, and product management will enable you to create flows that work well for both internal teams and customers. You will play an important role in clarifying issues, facilitating discussions, and leading cross-functional decisions. You will report to the CPTO and work closely with the tech lead and the development team (which is remote), as well as with salespeople, buyers, valuers, finance teams, management, and marketing at the Stockholm office. Your responsibilities Identify, analyze, and prioritize needs within Commercial together with sales, purchasing, finance, management, and marketing. • Map and improve processes using service design methods. • Lead the development of new features in our internal systems and on carla.se. • Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders in cross-functional projects. • Ensure that solutions are well-tailored, scalable, and provide concrete business benefits. • Work on conversion optimization, customer insights, and feedback tools. • Oversee the roadmap, prioritization, and communication of the team's work. Who we are looking for We are looking for someone who combines business understanding with a strong sense of process and design. You thrive in an environment where you can work both business-developing and hands-on, and enjoy getting things done. You are confident in facilitating discussions, clarifying problems, and creating structure in complex flows. We believe you have: • Several years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role. Documented experience in mapping and improving processes with users. • Experience in developing and validating UX design (with or without a designer). • An interest in service design and interaction design. • Experience in leading development teams (remote). • The ability to balance commercial goals with internal efficiency needs. • A strong ability to communicate and simplify complex information. • Experience and understanding of the importance of release management - training, carefully rolling out and following up on releases. • Fluent in Swedish and English. It is advantageous if you have experience in: • E-commerce or other digital sales. • CRM and business systems like Hubspot or Business Central. • Conversion optimization and A/B testing. • User research using both qualitative and quantitative methods. • Automation or AI-driven tools in commercial flows. Location and work style The role is based at our office in Vasastan, Stockholm, close to your stakeholders and part of the broader product team. There are opportunities for some remote work.
