Do you want to work with advanced technology beneath the surface, where electronics, mechanics, and mechatronics converge? We are currently seeking an engineer to join our team that works with sensor systems—systems that demand high levels of accuracy, analytical skills, and creative thinking.
In this role, you will be involved in troubleshooting, verification, and testing of complex systems. The work takes place both in the workshop, at customer sites, and through visits to suppliers, requiring you to switch between practical tasks and technical analysis. It often involves identifying the causes of faults and understanding how different subsystems interact—a kind of technical detective work where curiosity and perseverance are essential traits.
You will become part of a close-knit team that collaborates closely, supports one another, and collectively takes responsibility for ensuring the systems operate effectively. The role also involves some leadership, such as during planning and testing, where you may lead smaller groups and coordinate the work. Documentation and communication with both internal colleagues and external parties are natural parts of daily life. In the long term, the role may also include technical assessments for new assignments and proposals.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who thrives in an environment where electronics, mechanics, and mechatronics intersect. We welcome both individuals with solid specialist expertise and those who are at the beginning of their technical careers. You are structured yet flexible, and you can troubleshoot even when the pace is high and the customer is present.
We believe you have:
* An engineering degree in electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent experience
* Experience in troubleshooting and testing technical systems
* Understanding of circuit diagrams and computer hardware
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work calmly and methodically even under pressure
* Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
* (Preferred) Experience in hydroacoustics, sonar, or defense technology
