Job Description You will be part of the Data and Analytics organization at a larger public actor in the transport sector. The organization consists of approximately 60 employees and consultants working in seven agile teams. Starting September 1st, Data & Analytics will form its own section with the section manager reporting to the IT Director. Data, analytics, and AI are high-priority areas both within the business and IT. The organization is striving to become more data-driven, which involves changes in technology, working methods, and processes. The technical landscape is currently being modernized, with an ongoing initiative to replace an older data warehouse with a modern analytics platform in Azure. The platform also includes an on-prem solution and a geospatial data platform. Additional modernizations are planned in parallel with the development of new functionality. The Data & Analytics group is now seeking a senior product owner/project manager/activity leader with strong drive and extensive experience in data, analytics, and AI. The candidate should be self-driven while maintaining a strong focus on collaboration and coordination. Experience working in complex organizations undergoing change is important, as is the ability to develop and implement solutions, processes, and routines. The role is a combination of product ownership and other tasks needed to develop the data and analytics area effectively. The consultant should be flexible and prepared to take on various types of assignments, such as: • Requirements analysis • Coordination and documentation of process development and routines • Coordination of larger initiatives involving multiple teams • Driving and coordinating activities to support other product owners Responsibilities and Assignments: • Product owner responsibilities based on ongoing team and area of responsibility restructuring • Dialogue with the business, prioritization, and other standard product owner tasks • Lead and coordinate larger and smaller projects or activities as needed • Together with other product owners and teams, translate business needs into technical solutions • Collaborate within and between teams and with other IT functions • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the group Mandatory Requirements: • At least six (6) years of work experience in product management/technical project management for organization-wide BI and data analysis solutions • At least three (3) years of work experience as a product owner within Data & Analytics • At least one (1) documented assignment including implementation of a new cloud-based Data & Analytics platform • At least two (2) documented assignments leading development work in Data & Analytics using agile methodologies • At least one (1) assignment where change management was a central part of the work • At least three (3) years of experience collecting and analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, and initiating development activities in Data & Analytics • At least one (1) assignment involving recurring facilitation of backlog prioritization with the business • At least one (1) year of work experience as a product owner or product manager of AI solutions, focusing on requirements, prioritization, and coordination between technology and business • At least one (1) documented assignment in the Data & Analytics area in the public sector • At least one (1) documented assignment in larger organizations where you actively contributed to portfolio processes, including initiative prioritization and funding assurance Meriting Requirements: • At least three (3) years of experience in assignments where change management was a central part of the work • At least two (2) years of experience in the public sector • At least five (5) years of experience working in an IT organization as a Product Owner/project manager Your Application Does the role sound interesting and suitable?
