We are now seeking a Data Platform Product Owner – a central role in further developing, optimizing, and future-proofing Balder's data foundation.

As Data Platform Product Owner, you are crucial in leading and modernizing our data platform during a major technological shift across the organization. You are responsible for ensuring the platform enables real-time flows, AI, and larger data volumes. You are the link between the business, IT, and development team, and ensure that the platform not only functions – but creates real value for the entire organization. In short, you make sure our data platform continues to be an enabler of innovation, insight, and business development.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ownership of data platform regarding technology choices, architecture, development, and management.
* Responsible for the data platform's roadmap and backlog in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Drive the transformation towards next-generation data platform for real-time flows, AI, and larger data volumes.
* Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Coordinate work with external vendors and internal resources for efficient delivery.
* Identify, drive, and prioritize technical improvements such as tool changes or new model structures.
* Ensure data deliveries and structures meet requirements for quality, performance, security, and scalability.
* Support establishment of platform principles for data cataloging, lineage, versioning, and AI-readiness.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
Have experience working with modern data platforms and understand how data can be used as a strategic resource. You thrive in the intersection of technology and business and enjoy driving things forward – systematically, pragmatically, and with clear delivery focus.
* Have good knowledge and practical experience with modern data platforms, preferably in Azure environment.
* Good understanding of data architecture, pipelines, modeling, and data accessibility.
* Experience driving change initiatives in data – e.g., modernization, tool replacement, or migration.
* Knowledge of technologies like dbt, Databricks, Spark, or event-driven solutions.
* Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is meritorious if you have experience with major system replacements, Data Governance, or MLOps.
