Your Future Role
Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership expertise at Alstom's service center in Falköping. We work with corrective and preventive maintenance, as well as collision repairs and minor modifications of trains.
You will report to the Depot Manager and work alongside competent and dedicated colleagues who will help you integrate into the job and the team in the best possible way.
In this exciting role as Production Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and ensure the continuous development of production in line with the company's overall goals, together with your team. You will have personnel responsibility for 5-10 shift workers, where your coaching leadership will contribute to motivating and engaging your employees.
In the role of Production Manager, you will work shifts.
In this role, you will also:
• Be responsible for the daily operations of production and customer delivery.
• Work with goal setting and performance tracking, as well as making operational decisions.
• Lead, involve, engage, and develop the production staff and the workshop.
• Perform personnel planning for the production area.
• Drive systematic improvement efforts aimed at increasing safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Drive the development of production operations and implement activities in line with the company's high standards.
• Have full responsibility for the work environment/traffic safety within production.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for the operations and, if necessary, initiate and implement actions.
• Collaborate with trade unions.
• Promote good and transparent communication and coordination between the company's departments.
• Lead and drive collaboration and operational outcomes for both workshop staff and the support functions related to operational execution.

• Preferably experience in a leadership position.
• You are accustomed to working with health, environment, and safety.
• Experience in business development/change management.
• We would like you to have experience from production/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of the railway industry is an advantage.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
