**About the role**
We are looking for a Product Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our checkout. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, driving the roadmap, and ensuring that our solutions create real value for both merchants and end customers. The checkout includes both financing options and market-specific alternative payment methods, so experience with payments is needed to balance customer value with technical feasibility. Since the product is integrated into merchants’ e-commerce and POS systems, experience with e-commerce platforms and/or PSPs is highly valuable.
You’ll work closely with engineering, design, sales, and merchant partners (e-com and POS providers) to optimize the entire purchase journey - from authentication and customer data collection to signing and completion.
**Key responsibilities**
- Own the product vision and roadmap for Resurs’ checkout and financing solutions.
- Analyze customer behavior, drop-offs, conversion rates, and approval rates to identify improvement opportunities.
- Work with UX/UI and development teams to design and deliver frictionless, intuitive flows for both B2C and B2B customers.
- Lead A/B tests and experiments to optimize conversion, time-to-checkout, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with merchants to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Ensure regulatory, compliance, and security requirements are met in all product changes.
- Communicate product updates and performance to key stakeholders across the organization.
**Requirements**
- At least 5 years of documented experience as a Product Manager.
- Experience from payments, financing, BNPL, or checkout solutions.
- Experience working with large merchants or payment platforms/acquirers.
- Comfortable pitching during merchant sales calls and communicating with stakeholders across different competencies within the Resurs organization.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with data (conversion, funnel analysis, A/B testing, etc.).
- Comfortable working with APIs and digital products together with engineering teams.
- Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear requirements and prioritized roadmaps.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Swedish not a requirement but meritorious).
