As our current Head of Security will be moving on to exciting new challenges within the company, we are looking for a new colleague to champion protective security, information security, and operations security in Ramboll Sweden! Are you our new Head of Security?
**Your new role**
As our new Head of Security, you will be responsible for security-related information, operations, and physical security in Ramboll Sweden. You will operate at strategic, tactical, and operational levels, working proactively to reduce risks by identifying and minimizing potential threats through awareness, planning, training, and the implementation of security measures. You will also collaborate closely with our client-facing business, advising them on security-related topics in tender work and project execution, and contributing to a culture of security awareness where all employees in Ramboll Sweden have the knowledge and take responsibility for preventing risks. More specifically, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
**Information**
- Provide security advisory to our tender teams, line managers, and project teams on fulfilling clients’ information security requirements.
- Sign protective security contracts and agreements.
- Conduct internal security training for key stakeholders as needed.
- Conduct security clearance interviews.
- Ensure compliance with the Protective Security Act (SFS 2018:585) when applicable in projects.
**Operations**
- Develop, implement, and update the Ramboll Sweden security strategy, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with frameworks set at the group level, while keeping us at the forefront of security among our industry peers in Sweden.
- Identify threats and vulnerabilities in Ramboll Sweden and propose necessary actions to mitigate these.
- Oversee initiatives to strengthen operational and information security practices.
- Collaborate with and support local workplace management teams, other support functions, and key stakeholders at senior management level on security-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with security procedures, oversee incident response and follow-up, and drive continuous improvement across all security practices.
- Interact with other security disciplines such as IT security, information security, compliance, and Data Protection, as well as provide support for personnel security-related incidents.
- Ensure the implementation of physical, technical, and site security standards adhering to the PSMS, Security Protective Act, ISO 27001, NIS2, and client-specific requirements.
**Physical security**
- Hold responsibility for physical security across our sites in Sweden, ensuring that the company's physical assets and employees are protected against any threat.
- Have overall responsibility for Ramboll Sweden's emergency response organization in collaboration with the Manager of Health and Safety.
**Delimitation:**
- Does not have strict accountability for IT security but is responsible for channeling and coordinating IT and information security from the global functions to the Swedish organization.
**The Mandate**
**Power of mandate:**
- Authority to manage Ramboll Sweden's security strategy.
- Authority to make decisions on immediate security measures in the event of identifying acute threats.
- Authority to manage local security coordinators established in locations where Ramboll Sweden has national secure rooms.
**Reporting Lines**
- Reports to: Ramboll Sweden Head of Operation (or to MD in the event of a crisis or security risk).
- Dotted line reporting: Global Head of Physical Security.
**About you**
- You hold a degree at B.Sc. level and/or equivalent experience.
- You have extensive experience in leading/managing protective security and information security in public or private organizations.
- You have experience working with risk management, incident/crisis management, and business continuity planning.
- You have at least an overall understanding of cybersecurity technologies, such as encryption protocols and network security principles.
- You possess strong leadership skills, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills.
- You take initiative, act decisively, and maintain a strong sense of urgency to deliver results in a complex, international organization where priorities can shift frequently.
- You pay attention to details without losing sight of the overarching frameworks, ensuring adherence and alignment with the Global Security Strategy and Ramboll Sweden business goals.
- You communicate proficiently in both English and Swedish.
- You hold a degree or certification in security management such as CSMP from ISMI, CISSP, or CPP from ASIS INT, or are willing to undertake such education within a defined timeframe.
Additionally, candidates must be eligible to obtain Swedish national security clearance, as the role involves working on projects requiring this level of authorization.
