About this role

Job Description One postdoctoral position is being announced within the Random Matrices and Random Geometry research group at KTH Mathematics. The projects will be conducted under the leadership of Prof. Fredrik Viklund and will involve studies of one or more of the following areas: Coulomb gases and related areas, 2D stochastic conformal geometry (SLE theory, lattice models, Gaussian fields, etc.), conformal field theory, gauge theories, Loewner energy, or other areas aligning with the supervisor's research interests. More information about the research group: https://sites.google.com/view/kth-rmrg/home Qualifications Requirements - Completed doctoral degree or foreign degree deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree. This qualification requirement must be fulfilled by the time the employment decision is made. - The applicant must have a strong background in mathematical areas relevant to the group's research field. - Good communication skills in English, both oral and written, as required in daily work. Meriting Factors - At the application deadline, no more than three years since the doctoral degree or equivalent foreign degree was obtained. - The applicant should be highly motivated, able to work independently and in collaboration with group members, and have good communication skills. - Awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues, with a particular focus on gender equality.
