Eligibility
Qualified for a postdoctoral position are those who have obtained a doctoral degree, or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree within the research field.
Proof of meeting the eligibility requirement must be received no later than the time of employment decision. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their degree within the last three years. If there are special reasons, the doctoral degree may have been obtained earlier.
Qualifications:
You have a strong ability to develop and conduct high-quality scientific research.
You have a doctoral degree in biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry, computational biology, or a related field.
You have excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
You have a solid programming foundation and feel comfortable developing and maintaining computational protein design pipelines.
You have basic experience in biochemical laboratory work.
You have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary and scientifically demanding environment.
You are open to learning and applying new computational and experimental methods.
You have a strong commitment and interest in working on complex design problems.
Additional Requirements:
It is meritorious if you have in-depth knowledge of inorganic and organic chemistry.
It is meritorious if you have experience in developing deep learning models or computational protein design.
It is meritorious if you have experience integrating experimental and computational workflows.
It is meritorious if you have experience in student supervision or mentorship.
Assessment Grounds
This is a merit-based position primarily focused on research. The position is intended as an initial career step, and candidate assessment will primarily be based on scientific merits and research potential. Special emphasis will be placed on scientific ability within the field.

Consideration will be given to how the applicant's experience and competence are assessed to complement and strengthen research within the department/institution and contribute to its future development.
