Welcome to apply for a job with us! Work Tasks Your work will consist of data analysis and compilation, as well as recruiting research participants for research activities. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will primarily conduct research. Teaching may also be part of the work tasks, however, not exceeding one-fifth of working hours. Qualifications To be eligible for a postdoctoral position, you must have a doctoral degree or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree. Your degree must be completed no later than the time the employment decision is made. It is meritorious if your degree was obtained within three years before the application deadline. If there are special reasons, those who have completed their doctoral degree earlier may also be considered, for example, in cases of statutory leave. We are seeking someone with a psychology degree and a doctoral degree in medical science. Previous experience in clinical psychology (preferably school psychology) and documented knowledge of child and adolescent psychiatry including self-harm behavior, school studies including school prevention studies, YAM method, and methodological expertise in both qualitative and statistical methods such as cluster analyses and structural equation modeling are required. Previous work experience and familiarity with child and adolescent psychiatry from one or more Nordic countries is meritorious. Language requirements for the position are fluent Swedish and English. You are good at taking initiative and getting things done. You are expected to be independent, trustworthy, flexible, and have high integrity. You are thorough with a structured approach. Great importance will be placed on personal characteristics, ability to deliver results, and collaboration with others. Workplace You will work at the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (BKV) within the Medical Faculty at Linköping University. Organizationally, you will belong to the Barnafrid Division, which consists of a work group with broad multiprofessional and interdisciplinary competence. Barnafrid is aimed at professionals who in their work encounter children and young people exposed to violence and other abuses, as well as professionals from various authorities and organizations. About the Position This is a time-limited employment for two years with the possibility of extension, with a total employment period of no more than three years.
