Job Responsibilities
Your tasks will involve data analysis, compilation, and recruitment of research participants in research activities.
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will primarily conduct research. Teaching may also be included, but limited to no more than one-fifth of your working hours.
Qualifications
To be eligible for a postdoctoral position, you must have a doctoral degree or a foreign qualification deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree. Your degree must be completed by the time the employment decision is made.
It is meritorious if your degree was obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline. Special circumstances may be considered for those who completed their doctoral degree earlier, such as statutory leave.
We are seeking candidates with a psychology degree and a doctoral degree in medical science. Required qualifications include:
- Previous clinical psychology experience (preferably school psychology)
- Documented knowledge of child and adolescent psychiatry, including self-harm behavior
- School studies, including school prevention studies
- YAM method
- Methodological expertise in qualitative and statistical methods, such as cluster analyses and structural equation modeling
Previous work experience and familiarity with child and adolescent psychiatry in Nordic countries is advantageous. Language requirements include fluent Swedish and English.
You should be proactive, results-oriented, independent, trustworthy, flexible, and have high integrity. You must be detail-oriented with a structured approach. Significant emphasis will be placed on personal qualities, ability to deliver results, and collaborative skills.
Workplace
You will work at the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (BKV) within the Medical Faculty at Linköping University. Organizationally, you will belong to the Barnafrid Division, a multidisciplinary team focused on professionals working with children and youth exposed to violence and other forms of abuse.
