We work to create a safe, fossil-free, and sustainable energy future for people, businesses, and communities. Here, you will encounter a culture characterized by courage, care, and curiosity – where we challenge old ways of working, take responsibility for the whole, and build the future together. The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is part of Business Transformation and is responsible for governance models, portfolio work, and development processes for the organization's development portfolio. We are in an exciting phase where we are strengthening structure, clarity, and common working methods, and here you will play a central role alongside your five colleagues in the team. About the position As a Portfolio Manager, you will have a business-oriented, strategic, and broad role where you will be a driving force in developing and maintaining our portfolio management. You will work across the organization and support programs and business units with both structure and analysis. The role involves close dialogue with many stakeholders, where your ability to build trust, challenge, and contribute to clarity will be central. Your responsibilities will include: • Leading and developing portfolio management processes and our strategic roadmap • Supporting programs with prioritization, follow-up, and resource planning • Contributing to financial follow-up and profitability analysis for the portfolio • Driving change management related to our strategic initiatives and contributing to the development of governance models and processes • Ensuring that the portfolio is continuously optimized and includes the latest ideas and developments, as well as actively promoting our perspective within the group. • The role requires many touchpoints and a willingness to both delve into details and contribute strategic direction. Your experience To succeed in this role, we see that you have solid experience in portfolio management, project and program management, preferably combined with business development. You have a good understanding of how these components are interconnected and how they together create long-term value. Financial follow-up is a natural part of your work, and you are comfortable analyzing profitability and making well-informed, data-driven decisions. We prefer that you have a background in engineering, project management, or a similar role where you have built your experience step by step. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English and are comfortable navigating and building your networks in a complex organization with many touchpoints. Experience in business architecture or the Vintergatan model is considered an advantage. You have the ability to think both strategically and operationally, and you thrive in the role of creating structure, identifying needs, and driving improvements. In change management, you are both attentive and clear; you dare to ask questions, challenge, and contribute new perspectives. At E.ON, we see technology and innovation as a natural part of our daily work. We believe that you are curious, readily embrace new technology, and view changes as an opportunity to find smarter and more sustainable solutions. In this role, you will take responsibility for creating progress and are willing to find new ways to deliver results in a complex environment. What is it like with us? With us, you will meet an engaged team where ideas are welcomed, perspectives are valued, and we are curious about each other's thoughts, fostering close collaboration and a lot of humor. We are in a phase where we are building structures, creating clarity, and challenging old ways of working – and we do it together. We work without prestige and are careful to create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can contribute their strengths. Your manager, Kajsa, leads the team with trust, security, and clear frameworks, providing significant autonomy while offering support when needed. She is present as a sounding board and appreciates employees who take initiative, drive issues forward, and dare to both challenge and create clarity. Humor, care, and an inclusive culture are important aspects of her leadership, and she values that the team has fun together while delivering quality and courage. At E.ON, we actively work with inclusion – it is crucial for driving the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a safe working environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development.
