About the Position A role with many interfaces and significant influence over technical development, where you will have the opportunity to impact both product strategy and long-term decisions. You will have the overall lifecycle responsibility for one or more product platforms consisting of both hardware and software. The role is central to ensuring long-term development, quality, and efficiency of the products. You will drive strategic work to develop and maintain the platform, in close collaboration with product management, release managers, and the test organization. You are responsible for establishing and following the platform's roadmap, ensuring that design and maintenance needs are addressed, and that development efforts align with the company's overall goals. As a Platform Owner, you will have a varied workday where you work both strategically and operationally. Examples of work tasks include: - Collaborate with Release Manager on planning, prioritization, and resource needs - Participate in specification and design reviews during early project phases - Identify and manage design-related improvement areas during and after the development phase - Assess reusability of existing modules in new projects - Engage in dialogue with product management, purchasing, aftermarket, and production to ensure efficient development - Manage product deviations and initiate improvement measures - Follow up on component lifecycle, availability, and alternative solutions in dialogue with relevant departments Your Competence - College or Master's degree in a relevant field - At least 5 years of relevant work experience with decision-making authority - Broad technical knowledge of hardware and software - Fluent communication in Swedish and English, both verbal and written It is meritorious if you have technical expertise in electronics or software, experience as a technical project manager or leader. As a person, you are driven and communicative, with the ability to create engagement and collaboration across departmental boundaries. You are structured, unpretentious, and have a good ability to adapt your communication skills to different people and situations.
