Job Responsibilities
As a Site Manager in Northern Sweden, you will be responsible for some of the country's most significant steel and prefabricated construction projects. You will have total responsibility for the installation site, lead daily work, and ensure implementation meets quality standards while adhering to schedule, budget, and safety requirements. You will have on-site personnel management and collaborate with experienced team leaders.
As a Site Manager, you will be a key person in Nordec's projects across all business areas. Multi-story and bridge projects focus on established customers in the construction sector, while hall and industrial projects are often linked to the green industrial transition, where Nordec builds the future alongside leading actors. Work occurs in an international environment with cross-border projects, while the company is small enough to offer short decision-making paths, transparency, and a culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. Employees gain unique insights into all core areas of the business and become an important part of delivering safe, climate-smart, and cost-effective industrial steel construction projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Drive construction projects in steel, concrete, and prefabrication
• Lead the installation site and ensure quality, schedule, budget, and safety
• Coordinate work with team leaders and have indirect personnel management
• Work in an international environment with short decision-making paths and significant influence
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities:
• Relevant post-secondary education in construction or engineering
• Documented experience leading installation or construction projects, preferably in industrial or steel construction
• Experience with comprehensive responsibility, including budget and results management
• Strong leadership skills and personnel management experience
• Swedish and English proficiency, Finnish is a merit
• Valid Class B driver's license
