Job Description
We are seeking a driven and responsible Site Manager for an exciting company in the construction industry specializing in large logistics and industrial properties! As a Site Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the worksite, covering the entire process – from project start to completion and handover. Your primary mission is to ensure that the client's order is executed correctly and efficiently, and that delivery occurs within the specified timeframe. The role is broad and includes leading and coordinating the team (including in-house staff, consultants, and subcontractors). You will also be responsible for the project's finances, including budget tracking, procurement, management of change and additional work, and driving the project towards its set goal.
We are looking for an experienced and driven Site Manager with at least three years of experience managing several construction projects in either the industrial or logistics sector. The role involves extensive travel to different projects, primarily in southern Sweden, so you must be able to stay away during weekdays. You should feel completely confident in your construction technical knowledge and have good understanding of contract law and current regulations. You must speak and write both Swedish and English fluently. As our projects span across Sweden, a valid driver's license (B-license) and access to a car are required.
As a person, you are a natural leader who easily motivates your team and actively encourages others. You use communication and information as a natural part of your leadership to create involvement and transparency in work. You possess good planning skills and drive work forward efficiently, even when the project faces challenges or changing conditions. Finally, a strong focus on business acumen is crucial; the role requires a clear cost awareness and market understanding to ensure projects are successful and profitable.
The position is initially a consulting assignment with the chance of being taken over by the client.
