Site Manager Job Description
As a Site Manager, you are responsible for the entire project implementation from contract to handover. Your main tasks involve project planning, resource procurement, and ensuring project execution in terms of quality, time, and budget. Projects may include earthworks for water and sewage, industrial buildings, roads, streets, and bridges. You will be supported by site supervisors, skilled workers, and specialists who, together with subcontractors, drive and complete successful projects. The role thus entails leadership responsibility where you are expected to coordinate and motivate your employees towards development. In your role, you will also receive support from the responsible project manager, who is also your immediate supervisor, project engineer, work environment engineer, purchaser, tender engineer, and HR.
You have a college degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience from the construction or infrastructure industry. We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience as a site manager or several years of experience as a site supervisor, consultant, or project engineer in land and infrastructure projects.
We believe a successful site manager creates and maintains a good relationship with the customer, is a good leader, and has the ability to coordinate both internal resources and subcontractors. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has a solution-oriented approach, is a good problem solver, enjoys leading and motivating employees, and works to create a good work environment. Good order and organization are prerequisites, as is a structured work approach with an understanding of follow-up and documentation. The role of site manager also requires you to be confident in your leadership role and have the ability to delegate and set requirements.

Additional Information
The position begins with a six-month probationary period, located at our office in Kalmar, where you will be part of a result-oriented, tight-knit team with a strong sense of community.
You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have a valid driver's license.
This position will be subject to background checks in accordance with NCC's security culture. Several of our projects require SUA classification.
