The parent company is Starka AB, and the group includes two companies located in four locations: Lund (office with 12 employees), Kristianstad (where Starka Betongelement AB has its production and 135 employees), Ängelholm (Starka Betongprodukter with 15 employees), and a production facility in Arboga (for Starka Betongelement with 60 employees). Starka is an independent privately owned company in its third generation that manufactures and sells prefabricated concrete products. We have specialized expertise and modern resources for the development and manufacturing of concrete elements, retaining walls, and site completion. We take pride in our history and our material. **Area of Responsibility - Site Manager Starka Betongelement, Arboga** We are now seeking a Site Manager for Starka Betongelement. In the role of Site Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the site in Arboga and become a key person responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted in a safe, legal, and efficient manner. Occupational health and safety issues are a central part of the assignment, and the work is characterized by an active presence in production, where you work closely with employees and are visible in everyday operations to ensure that routines, workplace safety measures, and safety regulations are effectively implemented. As the chairperson of the safety committee and an active member of the occupational health and safety group, the role leads systematic occupational health and safety work and creates conditions for a safe and secure working environment where routines are consistently applied. The role is also responsible for planning, monitoring, and administration of maintenance and repairs in production, as well as for implementing larger investments, contributing to a stable and efficient production operation. In addition to occupational health and safety and maintenance, the responsibilities include environmental issues, permits, building permits, self-monitoring plans, fire protection, and chemical coordination. The role also involves contact with the municipal environmental inspector and other supervisory authorities. The combination of strong administrative skills, good IT competence, and practical engagement in production is crucial to ensure that routines and safety measures are implemented and adhered to. You will report to CEO Peter Weidemanis. **Your Responsibilities:** - Conduct systematic occupational health and safety work - Ensure that safety rounds and risk assessments are carried out - Ensure that self-monitoring plans and other routines are updated and followed - Plan and follow up on maintenance and repairs in production - Be responsible for implementing larger investments - Ensure that all environmental permits are valid and updated - Be responsible for building permits and temporary building permit documents - Maintain the local fire protection system - Act as the local chemical coordinator (LKS) - Participate in the local crisis management group - Serve as the contact person for the municipal environmental inspector and other authorities - Chair the safety committee and be an active member of the occupational health and safety group **Experience and Knowledge:** - Experience in a production environment, preferably 5–10 years. Experience as a production or quality technician is suitable, providing both technical understanding and familiarity with structured improvement and occupational health and safety work. - Ability to understand and apply occupational health and safety legislation, legal requirements, municipal requirements, and regulations related to safety, equipment, and properties. - Experience working with risk analyses, incident management, investigations, and follow-ups. - Practical understanding of maintenance issues and the ability to drive, prioritize, and allocate maintenance work. - Good experience in administrative work related to documentation and reporting. - Experience with authority contacts and audits. - Technical understanding with the ability to familiarize oneself with machinery, systems, and property technical issues. - Good system familiarity, including very good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. - Ability to work systematically with order and tidiness and ensure that legal requirements are met. **Personal Qualifications:** - Present and visible in production - addresses questions, supports employees, and ensures that routines and safety measures are effectively applied. - Self-driven and proactive - takes initiative, dares to make decisions, and ensures that tasks and improvements are implemented. - Structured and meticulous, with the ability to follow up on occupational health and safety, maintenance, and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal routines. - Communicative and collaborative, builds trust, works closely with safety representatives and production leaders, and creates good relationships internally and externally. - Engaged and responsive, with the ability to motivate and support employees, encourage collaboration, and promote a positive work culture. **Your Opportunities at Starka Betongelement** At Starka Betongelement
