About the Position We are looking for a detail-oriented and committed plastic repair technician for Werksta's auto body repair shop in Örebro. In this role, you will work on repairing and restoring plastic components on vehicles, such as bumpers, fenders, mirror covers, and other parts. The work involves assessing damage, dismantling and cleaning parts, and performing plastic welding, gluing, and reinforcement depending on the extent of the damage. You will also be responsible for filling, sanding, and priming surfaces before painting, working closely with our painters and body shop technicians.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of various plastic types (PP, ABS, PUR, etc.)
• Experience with sanding, filling, and priming
• Strong administrative skills and ability to document and work systematically
• Good computer skills and understanding of digital workflows
• Driving license (B-class) is required
• Precision and proficiency with heat tools and adhesives
• Understanding of vehicle construction and disassembly
Your Profile We are seeking someone with a good understanding of different plastic materials and experience with tools used in plastic repairs. You work systematically, have an eye for detail, and take responsibility for delivering high-quality work. Experience in an auto body repair shop is advantageous, as is knowledge of disassembling and reassembling body parts.
