About this role
Do you want to work close to nature and help shape the trees of the future? At our nursery, you will have a unique opportunity to combine craftsmanship, cultivation, and production. We work with large volumes, but each tree receives the care and shaping necessary for it to grow strong and beautiful in parks, gardens, and public spaces for many years to come.
About the position
As a nursery worker, you will work both independently and as part of a team, participating in the entire process from planting and care to pruning and shaping. The work takes place outdoors year-round, so to thrive here, you need to appreciate fresh air, varying weather, and practical work that follows the rhythm of nature.
Responsibilities
• Pruning and trimming trees according to established methods and quality standards
• Structural pruning, shaping, and corrective interventions
• Daily maintenance of tools and simple machinery
• Other cultivation work in tree culture, such as inventory and planting
• Working both independently in assigned areas and collaboratively with colleagues
We believe that you, as an applicant...
• Have experience in gardening, nurseries, park/outdoor environment work, or the arborist profession
• Have at least vocational training in gardening
• Have basic Swedish or English (spoken and understood)
• Have a B driver's license and/or experience with machinery
• Have a genuine interest in the development of trees and plants
It is advantageous if you have knowledge of pruning methods, plant physiology, structural pruning, or experience with machinery in cultivation/green spaces. You should enjoy practical outdoor work, be meticulous and persistent, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You are flexible, long-term oriented, and want to grow in your profession while contributing to production and a pleasant work environment. It is also beneficial if you have a knack for sharing your knowledge and supporting your colleagues in their development.
What do we offer?
• A stable and long-term operation with knowledgeable colleagues
• Work close to nature with the opportunity to follow the development of trees over time
• Opportunities to develop skills and responsibilities
• Secure employment conditions according to collective agreements and wellness benefits
About the position
