**About the Position**
We are offering an exciting opportunity to join one of Europe’s leading construction and infrastructure companies. Itinera is looking for a Plant and Equipment Manager to support our major projects in Sweden, including the new metro stations Arenastaden–Södra Hagalund and Hammarby Canal in Stockholm. In this role, you will help ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations while working with a diverse and international team.
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of our equipment and plant resources. You will work closely with project management and production teams and become part of an international and diverse workplace where different cultures and perspectives come together to foster innovation and project excellence.
**Main Responsibilities**
• Oversee the daily operations of plant and equipment, including planning, coordination, and optimization.
• Ensure that machinery and equipment are properly maintained, serviced, and upgraded when required.
• Lead and support the equipment team, set performance goals, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee quality control and ensure that production processes meet relevant standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with management on long-term planning and future capacity needs.
• Address operational issues such as equipment failures, bottlenecks, and downtime.
• Ensure proper reporting, documentation, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Act as a key point of contact with other departments, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
**Qualifications**
• Experience as a plant, equipment, or maintenance manager within construction, industrial production, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and technological systems.
• Proven knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
