JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Planning Leader for the School Administration's strategic premises resource planning. In close collaboration with the municipality's central property division, you will investigate how the organization's long-term premises needs can be managed and developed for high utilization and sound financial management.
The design of learning environments should always be based on the ambition to provide purposeful and cost-effective premises, where a good indoor and outdoor environment is created, high space efficiency is achieved, and children and students' best interests are put in focus. An important part of your work is to handle and monitor the operational premises needs and translate them into new solutions in existing properties with the goal of having the right number of spaces in the right places, sustainable environments, and solutions for operational premises that can long-term promote learning/education.
As a Planning Leader, you will lead the School Administration's strategic work with premises and work on assignment from the Head of Finance and Property. You will be part of the unit's property team, collaborate with the property division, urban planning administration, and other administrations. You will be the rapporteur in the School Administration's management group and the School Committee on strategic premises issues.
You will monitor the external environment and investigate the organization's needs and use of premises, primarily long-term, and contribute with new ways of viewing and using existing and future premises for high utilization.
Other investigative assignments may also occur.
