Planner for our Demand Chain Function
SKF Coupling Systems is a profitable unit within Business Unit Marine, SKF Sweden AB, and we are world leaders in "rigid shaft couplings" – something we have been since our start in 1940! Our most important customer segments are in power generation industry, steam and gas turbines, and shipbuilding industry. To these and other customers, we deliver solutions that significantly reduce assembly and disassembly times and increase availability in often highly capital-intensive facilities. What we essentially sell is time savings.

You will be part of a team characterized by a positive collaborative climate, where we support each other and share knowledge to achieve common goals. To achieve the best results in the role, it is crucial that you have frequent contacts with production and the factory's other functions – this is where you gain insights, build relationships, and create conditions for your initiatives to land correctly.
Your daily work will include managing ongoing purchasing, preparation, and production planning. The role also involves customer contacts, primarily international.
Main Responsibilities
• Participate in production planning for Couplings
• Preparation of new products for planning
• Follow-up of post-calculations
• Handle customer complaints and assist in quality issues with our suppliers
• Plan and execute purchases of related products and contract manufacturing
• Participate in the company's cross-functional groups in manufacturing improvement work
• Assist in developing the unit's suppliers and procurement processes
We Believe You Have
• Several years of experience with similar tasks in production planning and procurement
• Post-secondary education in industrial economics or comparable orientation
• Good English skills, both spoken and written
• Experience in manufacturing industry is meritorious
• A holistic and process-oriented approach – you are responsible for developing our planning and procurement processes in a simple and business-like manner
