Planner for El-Media Do you want to contribute to a sustainable future in the manufacturing industry? Volvo Trucks Umeå is now seeking a planner for our El-Media team – a role for someone who enjoys creating structure, coordinating activities, and ensuring efficient maintenance work. As an El-Media planner, you will play a central role in planning, coordinating, and optimizing the department's daily operations. You will work closely with technicians, production, and suppliers to ensure that maintenance activities are carried out smoothly and with high quality. In your role, you will be responsible for preparing and planning maintenance activities, including work orders and rounds, as well as day and week planning for the department. You will actively participate in cross-functional meetings and improvement forums, contributing your expertise and experience. Additionally, you will manage orders and ensure that spare parts, materials, and services are available when needed. You will serve as the point of contact for suppliers and manufacturers, initiating external contacts as necessary and following up to ensure effective collaboration. We believe you are: A person who likes order and structure, but can also think creatively when needed. You enjoy collaborating, communicate clearly, and have the ability to see solutions where others see problems. We would like you to have: * Excellent collaboration skills and a structured approach to work. * Ability to work flexibly and solution-oriented. * Quality awareness and attention to detail. * 3-year high school education. * Excellent Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written. * Good knowledge of the Office suite. It is an advantage if you also have these meriting experiences: * Previous experience in industrial or maintenance planning. * Familiarity with our business systems (EBD, VMMS, Ariba, etc.). * Experience in operational management. * Experience in maintenance, electrical, or automation fields.
