About this role
The Swedish Armed Forces is currently in an expansion phase and on a significant growth journey. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in a dedicated and close-knit team. We are now seeking a Planner for the Technical Department, Logistics Unit. The Logistics Unit of the Naval Base leads the planning, execution, and follow-up of logistics and support activities within the Karlskrona Garrison for organizational units included in the Garrison. The Logistics Unit consists of a Staff (LogE Staff), Technical Department (TekA), Mobilization Department (MobA), and Supply Department (FörsA).
About the Unit
TekA (Technical Department) conducts and serves as the Garrison's reference for material maintenance production within the Garrison. TekA's operations aim to increase operational effectiveness by providing material maintenance and technical system support to the Garrison's organizational units according to the priorities set by the Armed Forces. Furthermore, TekA serves as a competence bearer for the material systems present in the Garrison and supports the combat units with training and execution of material maintenance. TekA consists of a Technical Customer Reception (TKM) and Technical System Support (TSS).
Main Responsibilities
The position of Planner is located at TKM, which is the Garrison's primary reference regarding material maintenance. TKM requests material maintenance for the execution of inspections (preventive maintenance) and repairs (corrective maintenance) from suppliers (within the Armed Forces or other contracted suppliers). TKM Karlskrona consists of five administrators and one planner, where the administrators are divided into two functions (Land/Marine), with a planner currently leading the functions. Due to the growth the Armed Forces is experiencing, we are recruiting more administrators for each function and an additional planner for TKM, with the aim that one planner will lead and plan for the Land function.
The material primarily handled within the land function includes: standard vehicles, heavy vehicles, containers, generators, forklifts, field equipment, and vehicle damage reports. The administrators are responsible for receiving users (the units), managing their maintenance needs, repair needs, assessing the scope and cost of the work, and placing orders both internally and externally. The work also includes follow-up in terms of finances, warranties, delivery fulfillment, and documentation of placed orders.
The administrators are involved in the planning, preparation, and reporting of maintenance production to workshops and civilian suppliers. The planners, together with the administrators, schedule work based on the priorities/guidelines established in collaboration with our users. Your task as a Land Planner at TKM will be to plan the upcoming year's material maintenance flows annually in cooperation with users, Armed Forces directives, and internal workshops. You should also be able to conduct training within technical services for the Garrison's units and support the manager in employee discussions and recruitment processes.
