Personal Assistant for a Happy and Playful 7-Year-Old in Staffanstorp – Extra as Needed and Awake Night Every Other Weekend
We are looking for someone who wants to make a real difference in the daily life of a cheerful, curious, and playful 7-year-old who has a significant need for support and security around the clock. She loves to play, have fun, and be close to others – and with the right people around her, she truly thrives!
About the Assignment:
Our 7-year-old has a disability and uses a feeding tube and other medical devices. Therefore, she requires assistance around the clock from caring and engaged adults who can be both playmates and a calm support. The girl has a hearing impairment and communicates using sign language; however, this is not a requirement (you will learn over time).
We are looking for both:
A personal assistant for awake night shifts every other weekend.
A personal assistant interested in working evenings every other week from approximately 3:30 PM to 9:45 PM.
We are looking for someone who:
* Retains a childlike spirit and enjoys playing, laughing, and being creative.
* Is reliable, responsible, and calm in demanding situations.
* Has experience in personal assistance, which is a plus but not a requirement; personal chemistry is the most important factor. Experience working with children is preferred, and knowledge of medical devices is a bonus (but the right person can also receive training).
* Speaks good Swedish.
Most importantly, you have your heart in the right place and want to be an important part of a child's life.
Working Hours:
Awake night shifts.
We are currently specifically looking for someone for awake night shifts every other weekend, with the possibility of more hours in the future.
Location: The position is based at home, and during the day, you will be with the girl at school.
