Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to persons granted personal assistance due to needing help with one or more fundamental needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to smooth daily functioning.
About the Position
The role of personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. We are therefore seeking someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and recognize what needs to be done.
The client is a 24-year-old woman with a great interest in film and writing, as well as hair and makeup. She has a muscle disease, and as an assistant, you are expected to help with physical tasks such as dressing, hand support, transportation, etc.
We are now seeking someone who matches the following:
• Willing to work with a 24-year-old woman located in Årsta
• Physically strong as there will be transfers/lifting
It is also meritorious if you:
• Have experience in similar work
• Share the woman's interests
• Strong emphasis will be placed on personal suitability
Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary:
We are now seeking two assistants for two schedule rows.
Schedule Row 1:
Saturdays on odd weeks from 07:00-19:00
Employment Level: 15% (24 hours/month)
Schedule Row 2:
Even weeks: Monday & Tuesday: 19:00-07:00
Odd weeks: Tuesday & Thursday: 19:00-07:00
Employment Level: 60%, 24 hours/week
Salary: Fixed hourly rate by agreement
Fixed hourly rate by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.
Start Date: Immediately
Employment at Humana
A prerequisite for starting employment with Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
