About the Job
• Employment: a part-time position at 65% and on-call substitutes
• Hours: The schedule offers long shifts from 08:00 to 23:30 (Fri, Sat 08:00-24:00).
• Before your first shift, you will shadow one of my regular assistants approximately 4-5 times to get acclimated to the job.
About Me
I am a woman over 55 who lives with my partner in a small community called Norra Unnaryd, located about 40 kilometers outside of Jönköping. My disability means that I need your help in various situations, but I manage my own assistance. I use a wheelchair due to a muscle disease and require help with personal care, cooking, and household tasks.
A day with me can range from a quiet day at home with various tasks, both indoors and outdoors, to an active outing—perhaps shopping at Gekås in Ullared. I enjoy baking, cooking, dining out, attending concerts, and watching ice hockey, and I love spending time with family and friends.
For us to get along well, I believe you should be:
• A woman with personal maturity.
• Reliable, meticulous, and attentive.
• Someone who enjoys working with people and can read and adapt to my needs.
Important to Know:
• You need to be smoke-free and tolerant of pets.
• You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You need a driver’s license and access to your own car to commute to and from work (you will be driving my wheelchair-accessible vehicle during work).
• Although aids are available at home, some physical strength is required, so it is beneficial if you are in good physical condition.
Due to the nature of the work, I am only seeking female assistants.
Does this sound like something for you? Get in touch—I look forward to your application!
