Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been approved for personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will uphold the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.
About the position
The role of a personal assistant requires a strong ability to establish good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. The man has an intellectual disability with elements of autism. He requires supervision round-the-clock and has extensive needs for help and support in his daily life. We prefer that applicants have prior experience in assistance!
We are currently looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
• Can work active shifts, i.e., 24 hours of awake time
• Have experience with intellectual disabilities, autism, and low-arousal responses
• Have good collaborative skills and understand the importance of working in a coordinated manner
• Have proficient knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:
The employment form is "as long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 90%. The job involves working shifts of about 15 hours. Working hours are as follows: 08:00-08:00 and 07:45-23:30.
Hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation as per collective agreement.
Start date
Orientation starting December 2025 or according to agreement.
Being employed at Humana
A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can provide a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years of age.
