ABOUT THE POSITION
At Kura Omsorg, we are seeking someone who wants to work as a personal assistant. We offer a position at 80% with a fixed schedule, as well as a temporary position at 80% from October to April. Working hours are scheduled during the daytime and evenings on weekdays, as well as every other weekend.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a 13-year-old boy with a twinkle in his eye who lives with his family in Vänersborg. He has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and uses a wheelchair. As his assistant, you will help him with everything in his daily life, from personal hygiene and mobility to playing video games, which is his favorite pastime. Additionally, you will accompany him to school on weekdays, and after that, your working hours will be spent at home or engaging in various activities that the family enjoys together.
ARE YOU THE ONE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone with a good heart. You have a sense of humor, a strong work ethic, are proactive, responsible, and enjoy working with people. Personal chemistry is ultimately what matters most. Furthermore, as an assistant in this role, you should be prepared for manual lifting. Both the school, home, and vehicle are adapted to avoid heavy lifting, but there are places where lifting aids may not be available.
REQUIREMENTS
• Driver's license and access to a car
• Not allergic to pets, as there are dogs and cats in the home
• Non-smoker
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
PREFERENCES
• Experience working as a personal assistant
• Experience with epilepsy
• Experience with cerebral palsy
Employment rate: 80-90%.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.
