I am a woman in her 50s living in Visby, currently seeking assistants for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
I have diabetes managed with an insulin pump and a neurological condition that has made me wheelchair-bound and caused chronic nerve pain, cognitive impacts, and various other symptoms.
The work involves helping me with diabetes management (excluding injections), administering medications, being my "arms and legs"; performing all standard household tasks; accompanying me in the city and nature; helping with animal care; assisting with contacts with authorities, medical appointments, etc. You will also be expected to help with administrative tasks and certain personal care such as dressing, hygiene, etc.
Seeking
I am looking for assistants who are calm and confident, and who view personal assistance work as a serious commitment. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and "chemistry". Training will be provided on-site, and you should be quick to learn new skills. Fluent Swedish speaking and understanding is a REQUIREMENT as I have some communication difficulties.
As I am sensitive to strong odors, it is very important that you do not wear strong perfumes, smell of smoke, or similar. You should also not have pet allergies since I have cats and a dog.
