Personal Assistant to a 4-Year-Old in Gothenburg

We are currently looking for a warm, playful, and engaged personal assistant who wants to support a child. With us, you will become part of a safe and positive team that works every day to create joy, development, and security for an energetic four-year-old living with their family in Västra Frölunda. **About the Job** This child loves to play, run around, watch GAIS, and spend time with their family. Your role will be to be present – in play, in everyday life, and in those small but important moments. The child has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, which means you will also support with tasks such as hygiene, tube feeding, dressing, and providing comfort during silent epileptic seizures. **Who Are We Looking For?** We are looking for someone who is committed, respectful, and attentive. We would prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. We would like you to: - Have experience working with children as a personal assistant or in a similar role - Be playful, active, and positive – enjoying being at the child's level and exploring the world together - Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - Preferably have experience with AAC (alternative and augmentative communication), such as pictorial support, podcasts, or similar - Have good physical ability and be comfortable working in a home with pets **During the Nights...** ...you need to be focused and attentive, as it is important to detect and respond appropriately to any seizures following clear procedures. **Additional Information** - Location: Västra Frölunda, Gothenburg - Employment Type/Extent: Hourly employment as needed. There is a possibility that this could lead to a part-time position. - Working Hours: Evenings, awake nights, and weekends - Start Date: As soon as possible – but we are flexible for the right person!
