About this role
Sanda Assistance was founded in Sandared by our CEO Betty Olsson. We have grown over the years, but our heart remains in the right place. The foundation of our vision is that "everyone is equally different and differently equal," and therefore, the right matching of assistants is crucial. We are seeking someone who wants to make a difference in another person's daily life.
As a person, you are responsible, honest, and solution-oriented. The role requires you to be service-minded and flexible, with the ability to interact with the client effectively. At Sanda Assistance, you'll have the chance to truly help others and create a meaningful day for those in need of support. We believe that job satisfaction and a good work environment create the best conditions for everyone. Therefore, we continuously work to ensure you have a positive work environment where you can feel proud of your job and contributions. Of course, we have collective agreements, etc.
Hello!
I am a 34-year-old man living in Tvärred with my partner, our son, and two cats. I am usually a happy and active person who wants to do most things I feel like doing as long as I have the stamina and energy. My son is my highest priority, and I want to be as involved as possible. This includes, among other things, having an assistant help me pick him up from preschool in the afternoons whenever I can.
It is therefore important that you like children and feel comfortable handling them, or are at least positive about trying. Examples of other things I enjoy include going outside, exercising, cooking, baking, watching football, listening to music, etc. I also enjoy having some personal time occasionally.
I need help with most aspects of my daily life, from pursuing my interests to dressing and undressing, using the toilet, or showering. I have no problems communicating verbally and in writing. I have my own car that I can drive and also have access to transportation services. I have FSHD muscle disease in a severe form. FSHD affects almost all muscles in the body to varying degrees, causing progressive weakness and chronic pain. I also easily become mentally fatigued due to living with the physical conditions and limitations the disease presents.
I am seeking assistants who want to work daytime hours from 07:00-17:30, primarily Monday-Friday, with potential weekend work requests. I hope that you are a perceptive person who can follow instructions. A plus would be if you are around my age, but this is not a requirement as personality is the deciding factor.
