About this role
Are you a positive and creative person who can uplift and motivate others? We are seeking an organized and flexible female personal assistant for full-time employment to support a 33-year-old woman who lives with her partner in central Emmaboda. She has limited mobility and requires support in her daily life to ensure everything runs smoothly, while she clearly expresses how she wishes to receive help and assistance. She is an active and curious individual who loves working out at the gym, taking walks outdoors, and listening to music. Makeup and hair care are among her great passions, and it would be delightful if you share this interest and can inspire and engage with her in those activities.
As an assistant, you will play a vital role in her daily life — someone who is present, encouraging, solutions-oriented, and confident in contributing your own ideas. You will be involved in planning activities, providing daily support, and accompanying her on trips and experiences. Mental health is a central part of her life, which is why we are looking for someone who has understanding, patience, and the ability to handle both ups and downs with calmness and empathy – someone who can create security, hope, and balance in daily life.
If you also have experience or knowledge in tactile massage, that would be a plus. The role offers variety and the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life while allowing you to utilize your creativity and initiative.
Job Responsibilities:
• Personal hygiene and care.
• Household chores.
• Support during social activities and hobbies.
• Assistance with meal times and dressing/undressing.
• Assistance with training and transfers.
• Support during showers and toilet visits.
Who are you applying? You are:
• Strong and resilient – with enough energy to keep up with a varied and eventful daily routine.
• Independent and confident in traffic – you have a driver's license and experience driving a car, as you will occasionally be using her vehicle for outings and errands.
• Communicative – with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Attentive and outgoing – with an imaginative and flexible mindset.
• Proactive and positive – with the ability to inspire, motivate, and create joy in daily life.
Scope & Employment Details:
• Start date: From December 1st.
• Employment rate: Full-time.
• Agreement: Introductory shifts and about one month of hourly employment before the regular employment rate is assigned, provided everything goes well. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.
• Work shifts: Includes day and evening shifts during weekdays, with the possibility of extra hours on weekends if needed. Each shift is from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
