**About the Position**
The client is a lively boy with certain physical disabilities including impaired hearing, a tracheostomy, and a PEG feeding tube. Initially, much of the role will involve getting to know and understanding the client. No two days are the same, but recurring tasks include personal care, medical duties such as managing the trach, feeding via PEG, suctioning, and assisting with activities like play and social interactions. The client requires constant supervision at all hours of the day.
**Requirements**
We are looking for a reliable and stable individual with a heart in the right place. You should easily be able to read children's needs and attentively alternate between play, activity, and medical interventions.
The assignment involves close collaboration with our 8-year-old client and his family, making your personal qualities particularly important – you need to enjoy being together. We believe you should be meticulous, responsible, and possess good social skills. Experience in care or teaching work is advantageous, but the most important factors are your right attitude, motivation, and sense of responsibility.
Knowledge of sign language is a significant plus. To be considered for the position, you must be non-smoker.
