Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's autonomy and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.
About the position
The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.
We are currently seeking someone who meets the following criteria:
• Wants to work with a 14-year-old girl residing in Värmdö
• Has good knowledge of Swedish
• Has a driver's license and access to a car/moped to easily commute to work
It is also advantageous if you:
• Have experience in similar work
• Share the client’s interests, such as listening to music, singing, and being active – for example, spinning, swinging, swimming, and riding. It is a significant plus if you also enjoy music, movement, and having fun together.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Working hours, employment rate, and salary:
The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts," and the position is approximately 15%. The job involves working during daytime and evening hours every other weekend (odd weekends):
Weekend 1: Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM
Weekend 2: Saturday and Sunday from 03:00 PM to 09:00 PM
Hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Immediately or as agreed.
Being employed at Humana
A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present valid identification and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
