Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance due to needing help with one or more fundamental needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making their daily life run smoothly.
About the Position
The role of personal assistant requires a high ability to build good relationships. We are therefore seeking someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.
We are now seeking someone who meets the following criteria:
• Wants to work with a 37-year-old man located in Varberg
• Has experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare and social care
• Has good Swedish language skills
• Enjoys working in a supportive role
• Is a non-smoker
• Can work in a home with a dog
It is also beneficial if you:
• Have experience with epilepsy
• Have experience with autism
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Work Hours, Employment Scope, and Salary:
The current employment form is "For the duration of the assistance assignment" and the position is approximately 50%. The job involves work during daytime and evening hours.
Hours are scheduled from 08:00-17:00 or 17:00-21:00 on weekdays. On weekends, hours are scheduled from 09:00-18:00.
Complete schedule and exact workdays can be presented during the interview.
Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other compensation will be in accordance with collective bargaining agreement.

Employment at Humana
A prerequisite for starting employment with Humana is that you can provide a valid ID and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
At the end of the recruitment process, you will need to provide an extract from the police criminal record register before a potential employment. Additional information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
