Personal assistant needed for a woman in Segeltorp – every other weekend (odd weekends) and as needed when regular staff are sick or on vacation. We are looking for a positive, secure, and engaged personal assistant for a woman in her 63 years with MS. The work is every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing you the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s daily life. About the client: Our client lives in a villa with her husband and is an active and cheerful person who enjoys exercising, walking, planting flowers, going on excursions, and having coffee. She appreciates having fun and stimulating days with her assistants and wants someone who can motivate and engage her in daily activities. The client has medical needs that require experience and a sense of security: - PEG for certain nutrition, but she also eats regular food. - Suction machine and breathing mask, primarily at night but also as needed. - Mobile hoists for transfers within the home. It is advantageous if you have experience with these aids, but it is not a requirement – we value the willingness and commitment to learn. About the role: As a personal assistant, you will provide support in all aspects of daily life, focusing on security, participation, and joy. Job responsibilities may include: - Assistance with daily activities and leisure interests, such as walks, gardening, training, and outings. - Motivating and participating in exercise or other activities. - Help during meals and with the use of PEG, suction machine, and breathing mask. - Participating in social activities and creating a positive and stimulating everyday life. We are looking for someone who: - Is positive, calm, patient, and secure in their role. - Enjoys motivating and engaging with people. - Can take initiative but always with the client's approval. - Has experience with or is willing to learn to handle medical aids and transfer techniques. - Ideally is around the same age as the client for shared conversation topics and experiences.
