Personal Assistant Wanted for a Woman in Hässelby Villastad We are looking for a personal assistant for "M," a 63-year-old woman living with her husband and cat in Hässelby Villastad. "M" has significant mobility impairments and requires assistance around the clock. She communicates using a speech computer and partially through unclear speech, which makes it essential that you have excellent skills in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. **Job Responsibilities** As a personal assistant, you will help "M" with all aspects of her daily life—both planned and unplanned. The work includes, among other tasks: - Personal care (e.g., intimate hygiene, oral care, and dressing) - Assistance with transfers and daily routines - Participation in activities, such as vacations and outings (including trips to Öland) - Common household chores **Personal Qualities** You will be a very important part of "M’s" life. We are looking for someone who is: - Responsible – both in relation to "M’s" needs and towards your colleagues - Patient and attentive – taking the time to understand "M’s" communication and needs - Empathetic – with the ability to understand others’ situations and show respect - Calm and organized, yet flexible when plans need to change - Thorough and orderly in your work approach It is a great advantage if you have a sense of humor and enjoy music. A driver's license is preferred, but you must be able to cycle and swim. Knowledge of aquarium maintenance is considered a special merit. Due to the close assistance needs, we are only seeking female candidates. **Employment Type and Working Hours** You will be offered a part-time position, where you will initially work alongside an experienced assistant. Afterward, you will primarily work as a substitute during sickness or other temporary needs. Shifts primarily occur during: - 08:30–16:00 - 16:00–22:00 - 22:00–08:30 - Double shifts: 11:00–16:00 There is the greatest need for someone who can work 11:00–16:00, 16:00–22:00, or 11:00–22:00. It is highly advantageous if you live in or near northwestern Stockholm. **Experience** - At least 5 years of experience as a personal assistant or equivalent - Personal maturity and life experience are highly valued Employment conditions are according to the collective agreement with Kommunal, with individual salary setting.
