Who am I?
I am a girl with a great interest in fashion and interior design – I love lighting candles, making my home cozy, and scrolling through Instagram for inspiration. I live with my family in a house but have my own separate part of the home that functions as my own apartment. This is where I feel the happiest, especially in the company of my cozy dog, Valle.
Due to epilepsy, a PEG tube, and a stoma, I have personal assistance and am now looking for someone to join my team during the day.
About the job
My epilepsy is difficult to manage and comes in episodes with different types of seizures. Over the years, I have also undergone surgery for my epilepsy. Therefore, I need supervision around the clock and someone by my side who can stay one step ahead, interpret my signals, and act in emergency situations. Additionally, you will, of course, need to assist me with all ADL (Activities of Daily Living) tasks.
I often wake up early and like to start the day with some cozy time on the couch and watching Nyhetsmorgon before it’s time for medication, stretching, tactile massage, and exercise. When I have the energy, we enjoy going to stores or taking a trip to Kongahälla Shopping Center. Sometimes we take walks to the sea, while on other days I just need peace and quiet at home. I love music, and right now, I’m into Marcus & Martinus.
An important part of the job is learning how I communicate. I primarily express myself through body language and facial expressions. The better we get to know each other, the easier it will be to understand my signals.
Who am I looking for?
I am looking for a female assistant who is:
* Calm, empathetic, and responsible
* Smoke and chew-free (due to scent sensitivity)
* Careful with hygiene and clean work clothes before each shift (due to infection sensitivity)
It’s a plus if you enjoy things like Instagram, music, and movies – but the most important thing is that you are attentive, present, and comfortable following routines. Experience as a personal assistant or training as a nursing assistant is advantageous. You will receive training in epilepsy, but it’s good if you have some prior knowledge. You should also have reasonable physical ability. Since I live with my family, it’s important that you feel comfortable with their presence nearby.
You can reach me by public transport, but having a driver’s license and a car is a plus. Free parking is available nearby.

* Working hours: Mon-Fri, 08:30-16:30
The position is available immediately. An introduction will be provided before independent work begins. In addition to the fixed schedule, occasional weekend shifts may occur, for example, during trips. It’s also good to know that there is potential for increased responsibility as a coordinator in the future.
