About this role
At God Assistans, we are looking for a dedicated and responsible personal assistant to support and facilitate daily life for Julia. Care is the foundation of everything we do and is essential to providing the best possible personal assistance. We are currently seeking a passionate individual who wants to become a valuable part of our team.
As a personal assistant, you will work with Julia, a lively 12-year-old girl. Julia is cheerful, patient, and playful. She uses a wheelchair and needs a fantastic assistant to be there where her limits are reached. Julia has epilepsy and a feeding tube. Experience in this area is an advantage but not a requirement.
A work shift includes, among other things:
* Assisting with most daily activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, interaction and communication with her surroundings, and play.
* Helping Julia with administering medication/feeding through the tube.
* Assisting Julia with everyday tasks such as dressing/undressing, eating, and exercising.
* Providing help with mobility, which may involve heavy lifting.
* Accompanying Julia on outings, swimming, or watching movies.
We are looking for someone who:
* Is over 18 years old
* Speaks fluent Swedish and has good communication skills.
* Is non-smoking
* Experience in personal assistance is a significant advantage but not a requirement.
* Is a confident person with good self-esteem.
* Has a playful spirit and wants to fill Julia's time with both security and laughter.
* Is easy-going, creative, cheerful, curious, and takes initiative.
Working hours and location:
At Julia's home on weekdays between 16:00-20:30
Awake night shifts from 20:30-08:00
Weekends from 09:00-20:30

* Support in the form of training and introductory sessions for new employees
* In accordance with God Assistans' policy, we require a background check for everyone working with children.

* We will want to see a copy of your passport (SV) or residence card (EU) or residence and work permit/LMA card (outside EU).
