Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to persons who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will safeguard the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.
About the Position
The role of personal assistant requires a high ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.
We are now seeking someone who meets the following criteria:
• Willing to work with a 25-year-old woman located in Särö
• Good Swedish language skills
• Experience with similar work
• Experience with epilepsy
• Non-smoker
• Able to tolerate pet animals
It is also meritorious if you:
• Have experience with cerebral palsy
• Have experience with cognitive functional variations
• Hold a B driver's license
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Working Hours, Employment Scope, and Salary:
Current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" with two positions available: 1 position of approx. 50% and 1 position of approx. 80-100%. The positions involve work on weekdays with working hours 07:30 - 10:00 and/or 15:30 - 23:00, and every other weekend 09:30 - 23:30.
Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, with additional compensation as per collective agreement.
Start Date
Immediately or by agreement.
Employment at Humana
A prerequisite for starting employment with Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
