**Job Responsibilities**
As a personal assistant, you will support the individual at home, focusing on the user's needs and preferences. Responsibilities include practical tasks, personal care, medical interventions, recreational activities, and social interactions. You will be the support the user needs to participate as fully as possible in all activities and help ensure they have a good quality of life.
**Qualifications**
You have completed education from a care program, a child and leisure program, or a one-year personal assistance training. Applicants with other educational backgrounds or experience deemed equivalent by the employer may also be considered for employment. You possess good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken. The work should be characterized by a pedagogical approach to support the user in maintaining their skills as much as possible. It is important that you feel confident in your professional role and can act professionally. We also expect you to be social, attentive, and proactive in activities with the user. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
The role of a personal assistant requires good physical condition in terms of strength, stamina, and mobility. Since the job involves documentation, it is desirable that you have good computer skills. A valid driver's license and access to a car are preferred.

Do you want to work as a personal assistant with a cheerful team of friendly colleagues around you? What luck! We are currently recruiting a personal assistant for a man with a congenital disability living in Öjebyn. He shares his home with two others who also receive personal assistance.
The position is approximately 70% and includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. Start date from January 1, 2026, or by agreement.
For employment as a personal assistant, a criminal record check is required: Children with disabilities, e-service | Police Authority (polisen.se) and a request for an extract from the criminal record for an individual (442.3) - to be presented in a sealed envelope.
