Your role with us The client is a woman with autism who is seeking someone to support her in her daily life. The client is active, so you who are applying need to feel comfortable going for walks. The workplace is located in central Kristianstad. Your tasks primarily involve providing our clients with individualized support and care, developing and maintaining abilities and communication in consideration of the disability. You will support clients' participation in leisure and cultural activities, involvement at various levels - individual, group, and community - as well as autonomy and personal integrity. You will be the contact person and in this role, you are responsible for ensuring that an implementation plan is created and followed up on. Additionally, you are accountable for social documentation according to current guidelines. If applicable, you will perform medical tasks delegated by a nurse or assist the client with self-care. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with a high school education as a childcare worker, caregiving education, or a three-year high school education with supplementary training as a personal assistant. You have experience working with individuals with functional impairments and, where appropriate, performing medical tasks delegated by a nurse or assisting the client with self-care. We would prefer if you have experience working with sign language support and alternative communication (TAKK) as well as autism. Since the work requires communication and documentation, we expect you to be computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. A B driver's license for manual transmission is an asset. As a person, you have good collaboration skills, are stress-resistant, and flexible in order to manage changing situations in the workplace and interactions with clients. You are solution-focused and do your utmost to support the client. Moreover, you have the ability to independently plan your work and make your own decisions while also respecting decisions made by others and executing tasks on their behalf. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authorities unit, the national gymnasium, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
