Furuboda Assistance is a private personal assistance provider in southern Sweden with roots in the non-profit Furuboda Association. The company was established in 2005 and is a growing enterprise. Currently, Furuboda Assistance consists of approximately 600 employees. We strive to be a role model in sustainable business practices. About the Assignment
I am seeking a calm and stable person who wants to work as a personal assistant, as a part-time and summer substitute. Shifts can vary, including day, evening, and night shifts, as well as weekends.
I am a 60-year-old man with an MS diagnosis. I live alone in a villa in Osby.
You need to have a driver's license to be considered for the position, as I have a car that will be driven by the assistant.
I enjoy going on car trips for errands or to visit family and friends, where you as the assistant will drive. Sometimes I go out later in the evening, and you should be comfortable with that.
You will need to help me with personal care and assist with daily home maintenance. Beyond this, tasks will vary "according to weather and wind," as this affects my daily condition. I work on house and garden projects and am interested in technology.
I want to be respected and involved as much and as long as possible.
You should have sufficient Swedish language skills to communicate, despite my Osby dialect. It can be said that I am an unusual and somewhat stubborn man who likes to do things my way.
I smoke a pipe and assume you will not be bothered by this.
You should not be allergic to smoke, as I smoke indoors.
I currently have 4 assistants with varying backgrounds and personal interests. What unites them is that they are handy in different ways and understand home maintenance.
Shifts for this position are distributed across weekdays, weekends, and night on-call. Full-day shifts also occur.
A staff room is available on the upper floor to provide privacy.
