About this role

Do you want to work as a personal assistant and enhance people's lives? In this role, you will make a difference in people's lives and work with us towards our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life. Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's autonomy and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life. About the position The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. Humana is currently seeking several assistants who want to work as substitutes for our clients in Kalmar and surrounding areas. During the recruitment process, we will learn more about you and who you are, and if you are hired, we will provide further information about the clients' needs, schedules, and working hours. All newly hired personal assistants will receive an introduction to the profession. We will conduct physical interviews at Humana's office in Kalmar. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria: • Wants to work with clients living in Kalmar, Smedby, Trekanten, Nybro • Is available to work day and night shifts with varying hours on weekdays and weekends • Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written • Can complete training in delegation • Is physically fit and can assist with transfers • Wants to work in a developmental role It is also advantageous if you: • Have experience with low-arousal approaches and autism • Have experience in similar work within healthcare and social services • Have experience with TAKK or working with visual support • Hold a B driver's license (manual) Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Working hours, employment level, and salary: The current employment form is temporary. The work involves varying hours, and shifts range from 15 to 24 hours. The hourly wage is according to agreement, and other compensation is in accordance with the collective agreement. Start date: As agreed.
