We are currently looking for female assistants who want to work with a girl who has extensive care needs in the Bergsjön district of Gothenburg. As an assistant, you will have the opportunity to help this individual live a life on equal terms with others, as far as possible.
About the assignment In the role of an assistant, you will assist our client with everything from personal care, hygiene routines, mobility support, the use of various aids, assistance with activities, etc. The girl has Rett syndrome and requires assistance around the clock. A crucial part of the care is ensuring that her respiratory support is managed according to routine, as she breathes with the help of a tracheostomy tube. Interventions regarding the girl's tracheostomy require great care and precision. The workplace is in the family's home and wherever the client may be.
Who you are as an applicant We are looking for someone with experience in care and support, as well as personal suitability for this role. This means you should be responsible, empathetic, and attentive. It is important that you are punctual and can adhere to schedules, but also flexible enough to step in to cover gaps in staffing when needed. We value a secure and private individual who can work both independently and collaboratively with others.
It is desirable that you are physically fit, cheerful, and positive. The personal chemistry and interaction between you as an assistant and the client are crucial for the quality and experience of the work. A central part of this is communication; therefore, we expect you as an assistant to be proficient in both Swedish and Kurdish.

This is a part-time position with varying hours, and you are expected to be able to work day, evening, and night shifts based on your schedule. Working hours are from 08:00-15:00, 15:00-22:00, and 22:00-08:00. During nighttime hours, you are expected to be awake and active throughout your shift.
