Are you interested in becoming part of my support team at an adapted high school and/or at home?
I am currently seeking a personal assistant to work part-time three school days per week, preferably five days during the introductory period. There is also an opportunity to work at my home during evenings, weekends, and holidays. I am in my first year of an adapted high school and require round-the-clock assistance due to a neurological condition that includes epilepsy with severe seizures during nighttime sleep (extremely rare during the day). I enjoy music, dancing, clothes, hats, and have special interests such as vacuum cleaners and guitars. I am looking for someone who is positive, secure, solution-oriented, and finds it exciting to work with people who think differently. It is important that you are sensitive to when I experience stress, as stress increases the risk of seizures. During the introduction, great focus will be placed on communication and information about epilepsy.
To minimize misunderstandings, it is important that you have good Swedish language skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Be my support and security enabling school, excursions, summer camps, etc.
- Understanding and supporting me in communication with others
- Creating activities we both find enjoyable together
Meriting Experiences:
- Special education
- Relationships with people with different cognitive abilities
- Alternative communication such as TAKK and Widget Go
- Music in all forms
- Epilepsy
Working Hours: Opportunities for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
Start Date: By agreement.
