Personal Assistant

Do you want to make a real difference in someone's life? We are looking for someone to work as a personal assistant for a woman in her mid-30s living just outside Kristianstad. She has a disability and needs support to live an independent, fulfilling, and meaningful life. As her assistant, you will be an invaluable part of her daily life. Your tasks will vary – from personal care and household chores to being a safe and present companion during social activities and outings. You are not just practical support; you contribute to her freedom, safety, and quality of life. This position is a parental leave substitute that is initially based on hourly employment, with the possibility to develop into part-time work if everything goes well. The job includes various types of shifts, so it is important that you can be flexible with your working hours. Who are you? • You are a woman with great empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards life. • You have a genuine interest in assisting others with their needs and creating a safe and stimulating environment for the person you support. • A driver's license is required as the woman lives outside the city center. • Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is necessary, as communication is a significant part of your work. • Experience from similar work is a merit but not a requirement. Scope & Work Structure: • Start Date: October 2025 – April 30, 2026. • Employment Level: A parental leave substitute on an hourly basis, with the possibility to work up to part-time if everything works out well. • Work Shifts: Days, evenings, nights with on-call duties, and weekends. Recruitment Process & Employment Conditions: Recruitment Process We will continuously contact suitable candidates for an initial interview. The position will be filled once we find the right person, which may happen before the application deadline. Your application will be processed by staff at ENKV assistans, in collaboration with the employer, as well as any family members, guardians, or other concerned parties. If the position involves working with a minor client, a criminal record extract will be required. Employment Conditions If you proceed in the recruitment process, you will need to verify your identity and prove that you have the right to work in Sweden. To ensure high quality in the assistance provided, newly hired employees will undergo an online introduction training (approximately 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than within a month from the start of employment.
