The user receives assistance through a personal assistant present in their home. The service is provided in accordance with the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). JOB DESCRIPTION Our user is a woman in her sixties living with MS. She is wheelchair-bound and has significant care needs, which means she requires support with mobility and assistance with basic needs. As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of her daily life. You will assist with care, personal hygiene, household tasks, and everything that makes life a little easier and more meaningful. One of her great interests is cooking; she loves being in the kitchen! Therefore, it is a plus if you enjoy cooking and feel comfortable creating delicious meals together. She also appreciates going for walks and gardening, so if you enjoy fresh air and green environments, you will have much in common. For her to feel secure, it is important that you, as an assistant, are confident in yourself and in your role. She prefers her assistants to be mature women. Together with the work group and the user, you will follow an individual implementation plan, aiming to create a daily life that feels meaningful, safe, and filled with little gems that enhance quality of life. The work is scheduled across all hours of the day, evening, night, and weekends, and you will work independently alongside the user, but as part of a team with several colleagues. She lives in Stallarholmen, just outside Strängnäs, so a driver's license and access to a car are essential. Do you want to contribute to a safe and joyful everyday life? QUALIFICATIONS The user is looking for a female assistant who has: • Completed a nursing program or has other training deemed equivalent by the employer. • A valid B driver's license and access to a car. • Good computer skills. • Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Good basic fitness, mobility, and physical condition. Previous experience as a personal assistant and familiarity with MS is also an advantage. It is crucial that you maintain a professional approach and are attentive and flexible to the user's needs and wishes. The user's condition varies from day to day, so you must be able to adapt your working methods accordingly. Your personal qualities are important, and we will place great emphasis on them.
